How Are We Doing?

GWTA DirectorIt has been more than one year since GWTA has undergone a transition away from Gateway. We have moved into a beautiful new transfer center, created an interactive website, installed new bus stop signs, created new system and route maps, produced a ride guide, developed a new logo, and have made many other changes that GWTA hopes have made your bus or van ride more enjoyable.

Over the next several weeks GWTA will be asking for your feedback. Have all these changes improved the service? Do you feel safe riding the buses and vans? Are the drivers treating you courteously? Are you getting accurate information when you call the office? Are the buses and vans on time? Are they clean? Bus and van passengers can complete the short survey while you are riding. Look for the surveyors on the buses and vans soon.

GWTA will take the results of the survey and put them into action. Your feedback has already resulted in changes such as more direct service to Piggly Wiggly and a return of service on a request basis to the Social Security office. The fare for rural van trips has been reduced from $8.00 to $5.00.

Opinions of non-riders are just as important. Why aren’t you riding? Is the service not convenient to meet your needs? Is it too expensive? We do not have a survey for non-riders but please let us know how you feel. What do we need to do to get you or a family member on the bus or van?
